Woman ‘strangled’ by husband – 26 Apr 2023
TANDLIANWALA: A man allegedly killed his wife by tying a noose around her neck over a domestic dispute. The accused and his father tried to stage the incident as a suicide. Police took both accused into custody, shifted the body to hospital for a post-mortem and started an investigation. Sana, daughter of Manzoor, got married with Abu Bakr alias Akash around one-and-a-half years ago. On Tuesday, she had an argument with her husband over some issue at home. During the quarrel, Akash and his father Sharif allegedly tortured Sana and killed her by strangling her. They reportedly tried to stage the incident as suicide. Police reached the scene and took the body into custody and shifted it to hospital. They also started the legal action by taking both father and son into custody. OUR CORRESPONDENT
