RAWALPINDI: A mother of three children allegedly committed suicide by setting herself on fire in Chaklala area on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, the 40-year-old woman was identified as Nadia Batool, as she set herself on fire after dousing herself with patrol.
Consequently, she died.
As per information provided by the police, Nadia was married to Karamat Ali and had three children. Her husband was blind.
According to relatives, the deceased woman was not happy with her life and was distressed due to strained relations with her brothers and sisters. This drove her to set herself on fire. Staff Reporter
