CHARSADDA: Mother of a girl, who was shot dead by her father in honour-related incident, demanded of the FIA and other relevant authorities to arrest the boy, who had allegedly uploaded her dancing video on social media.
Talking to mediapersons here on Friday, the woman said the accused, Lugman from Karak district, was responsible of her daughter`s murder.
It is to mention here that she had reported to the city police station that she along with her daughter and a son-in-law was present at her home when her husband came there, took a pistol and started indiscriminate fire, killing his daughter instantly.
She said her husband took the step after someone taunted him over dancing of his daughter in a social media post.
She said the girl was domestic help at the residence of a family in Islamabad, where Lugman also worked as a driver.
She said Lugman made marriage offer to her daughter, but she refused because she was already engaged. He started blackmailing her, but when he failed in his efforts, he uploaded her dancing video on social media with fake ID.
Meanwhile, Bakhtiar Gul, father of the victim, got bail before arrest from a local court. He admitted to taking the extreme step after being taunted by people about the dancing video of his daughter. Correspondent
