Woman allegedly raped by medics – 03 Mar 2023
LAHORE: A woman who went for treatment at a hospital has allegedly been gang raped by the doctors in Wahdat Colony onThursday. In an FIR registered by the husband of the victim, the complainant maintained that his wife had not been feeling well. She approached Dr. Tahir at his clinic in Sabzazar for treatment who asked her to visit his hospital. As she reached there, he asked her to get her ultrasound done. The suspect took her to a separate room where another man was present. Tahir asked him to take a pill as it was mandatory for ultrasound. As the victim swallowed the pill, she started feelling dizzy. The woman alleged that as she fell unconscious, the suspects raped her. Lahore CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana has taken the notice of the incident and asked the field officer to submit a report to him.
