Woman allegedly gang-raped – 20 Feb 2023
LAHORE: A woman lured by a job offer from a policeman was reportedly gang-raped in Harbancepura. The victim alleged that she met policeman Qadeer Hussain and Iftikhar Aslam, who promised her a job and asked her to call them the next day. When she contacted them, they took her to an empty plot in journalist colony and allegedly gang-raped her. The suspects also hurled threats of shooting her dead if she posed resistance or made noise. SP cantonment took notice of the incident and tasked the field officer to submit a report and take strict action against Qadeer. OUR CORRESPONDENT
