Two killed in different incidents in Attock – 29 Jan 2023

TAXILA: Two persons were killed in two different incidents in Attock on Saturday.

In the first incident, a bullet-riddled body of a man was found from the mountains of Peeroshahi in the limits of Bhattar police station.

Police sources said that some passersby have spotted the body and informed the police who moved the body to FatehjangTehsil Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.

The body could not be identified till filing of this news report.

Police sources said that some unknown persons have killed the man and later his body was thrown there to conceal the crime.

Moreover, a murdered body of an assistant of a renowned lawyer was found at a deserted place on Khoar road in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Police sources said that Faisal Javaid left his house for work on Saturday but later his body was found lying at a deserted place with bullet injury while a pistol was also found along with his body.

Later police shifted the body for autopsy at THQ hospital Fatehjang.

The local bar association has announced a protest from Monday against the killing.

Meanwhile, police have arrested a man for allegedly killing his brother-in-law in Wah Saddar area.

The suspect was arrested on Saturday after police booked him for murdering Mujhaid Khan, over a monetary dispute in his dairy shop near Darbar Kareemi in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar police station on April 14 last year.

The accused managed to escape successfully and later the local court declared him proclaimed offender (PO).

A police party led by SHO Raja Qasim has raided his hideout and arrested him.
