Complainant shifted to Lahore as police receive medical report

Preliminary medical report of the foreign girl who had been allegedly gang-raped has turned out to be positive while the accused Muzamil Sipra, who is under arrest, has reportedly admitted to having consensual sex with the girl, police said.

The girl had been moved to Lahore while raids were being conducted to arrest the rest of the suspects named in the case.

In her complaint filed at the Fort Munro Police Station, the American-German vlogger and TikToker had alleged that she had been gang-raped.

An FIR under Section 376 and 292B of the Pakistan Penal Code was registered in the light of her complaint.

The main accused, Muzamil Shahzad Sipra, was arrested in Rajanpur after which the police secured from the court six-day physical remand of the accused.

According to police, the accused Sipra during preliminary investigations had confessed to having had physical relations with the complainant with her full consent.

In his statement given to the police, he said he had been in touch with the complainant for the past several months, and the latter had visited him in January and June this year.

The complainant had arrived from Lahore. He said that he had also met the complainant at Jampur Bikers Club while the latter had also contacted Azan Khosa. When she reached Fort Munro on July 16 with him, she told him that she wanted to see Azan Khosa, who had also come to Fort Munro.

“After spending some time with her she asked me to take her back to the hotel. On the second day, she again went to spend time with Azan and continued to do everything according to her will,” the suspect allegedly told the police.

After the preliminary medical report, the samples of the accused have been sent to a forensic lab in Lahore.

Meanwhile, the complainant’s visa expires on July 27. The investigating agencies have recommended extension in the visa to complete legal proceedings.
