LAHORE: The Garden Town police on Tuesday arrested the religious teacher of a madressa for allegedly torturing a minor student at the institute.
The suspect, identified as Qari Ishaq, brutally beatup the boy (A) and fled the scene when the child fainted, a police official said. The boy`s parents rushed to the madressa and shif ted him to hospital with multiple injuries.
Police lodged a case against Qari Ishaq and arrested him from his house.
