TAXILA: Police on Saturday claimed to have busted a racket allegedly involved in child sex and pornography by arresting its two members.
Addressing a press conference at the Taxila police station, Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar circle Mohammad Waqas Khan along with Subdivisional Police Officer DSP Ghulam Asghar Chandia and Station House Officer Sarmad Ilyas said on a tip-off police raided a godown located in the Jameelabad locality and found two suspects Qamar and Ehsan molesting two boys.
During search, two other boys were found in an adjacent room who told the police that they had been raped by the suspects.
Responding to a question, the SP said during preliminaryinterrogation the suspects had confessed to using boysinsextrade.The suspectsalsoconfessedthatthey recorded their illegal activities and later utilised it to blackmail the victims and their families.
SP Waqas said police had obtained three days` remand of the suspects from court for further investigation. He said a case had been registered against the suspects.
