Missing student found murdered in Shangla


SHANGLA: A college student, who went missing during a picnic with his cousins in the mountainous Shonyal area of Shahpur on Sunday evening, was found murdered.

Police told journalists that Shahid Khan, a college student, had gone to Bar Shonyal, at around 20-minute walk from his home, for the picnic with his two cousins. His cousins initially told police that they lost him in the jungle.

However, after a thorough search, his body was found in the mountainous upper Shonyal in the night. Locals said the boys had carried a Kalashnikov along with them that was foundnearthe deadbody.

Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zaman Khan, when con-tacted, said that the suspects were taken into custody and interrogation was under way.

PML-N: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf former tehsil councillor from Shang Gul Rokhan announced here on Monday to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz along with family and friends.

He made the announcement during a meeting at his residence. The meeting was addressed by PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam and candidate for PK-28 Mohammad Rashad Khan.

Mr Muqam said on the occasion that people were fed up with the former rulingpartyinthe province thatintroduced violence politics in the country and damaged the reputation of Pakistan worldwide.

He said loyal political activists of PTI were PML-N. He said that PML-N was a trusted party in the country and people believe in its political ideology.
