TAXILA: A man was killed near his house while a boy was molested Attock on Saturday, Police sources said.
In the first incident, a man identified Mohammad Zaffran, 40, father of five and a resident of Burhan was on his way home after completing his shift as dumper driver when two masked men opened fire on him lilling on the spot.
Later his body was shifted to THQ hospital Hassanabdal for autopsy.
In the second incident, a 13-year-old boy was molested in village Asghar in the limits of Hazro police station.
Shakeel Anwar reported to police that his son was playing outside his house when his neighbour took him tohis house and molested him. When the victim returned to his house he narrated his ordeal to his father who took him to the police station. Police registered a case against the nominated accused after medical examination confirmed the assault, and launched a search for him.
Meanwhile, two robbers looted customers and crew of a hotel located on G.T. Road near Museum bypass on G.T.
Road in the limits of Taxila police station on Saturday.
Police sources said that two men came on a motorcycle and took all the customers, mostly truck drivers as well as hotel crew hostage at gunpoint.
Later they searched all the people present there and fled with 10 mobile phones and Rs 500,000.
