Kidnapped infant recovered – 23 Jan 2023
FAISALABAD: Tandlianwala police recovered an infant safely within a week of her abduction. A spokesman said on Sunday that the three-year-old was kidnapped while playing outside her house in Chak No 414-GB on January 14th. Her parents tried to search for her and reported the incident to local police. The police started an investigation by using CCTV footage to find the accused, eventually finding a suspicious individual on a motorcycle. `Wanted’ leaflets were displayed at important public places in the area to identify the accused. As police proceeded through the investigation, the accused dropped the kidnapped girl near her house and fled the scene. APP
