DERA GHAZI KHAN: Four family members, including a man, his sons and a daughter, were killed over an old enmity while they were asleep in their house near Kotla Eson in Rajanpur.
The incident occurred when the assailants broke into the house and indiscriminately fired on the occupants.
Police said both rival parties involved in the incident belong to the same family.
The deceased are a man, his two sons, aged 12 and 18, and a 14-year-old daughter.
SUICIDE: An 18-year-old married girl died by suicide in her house in Bhutta Colony, near the vicinity of the civil lines police, by hanging herself with a rope tied to the ceiling fan. Samia took this extreme step in response to a domestic issue.
Rescuers retrieved the body and shifted it to the teaching hospital of the Ghazi Medical College in Dera Ghazi Khan. — Correspondent
