Couple held for torturing minor niece – 09 Feb 2023
TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad women police on Wednesday arrested a couple on the charge of torturing their minor niece at Chak 224-RB.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ms Madiha Irshad said the complainant, Shahnaz Bibi, mother of minor girl Safia, said in the FIR that her daughter was seriously injured by her husband`s brother Azam and his wife over a minor domestic issue.
The complainant also alleged that the couple also tore her clothes during the brawl.
SHO Irshad said that acting on the woman`s complaint, the police arrested the accused couple and registered a case under relevant sections of the PPC.
