Charred body of mechanic recovered – 01 Jul 2022

KASUR: Body of the missing auto mechanic was recovered from Chunian village Herchowki three days after his kidnap on Thursday.

The body was burnt to hide its identity and thrown at a deserted place.

Complainant Naveed Ahmed said his brother Munir Ahmed, a mechanic at village Jamber in Pattoki, went to Chunian to deliver an order [received on cell phone] of two batteries on Monday but did not return. The police on his complaint lodged a case against unidentified suspects.

On Wednesday night, Chunian police recovered his charred body from Herchowki.

The Sheikhupura regional police officer took notice of the incident and sought a report from DPO Sohaib Ashraf who constituted a team to trace outthe suspects.

ACCIDENT: Two minor brothers died on road as the bike they were riding had a collision with a tractor-trolley near village Mithradas at PhoolnagarKotRadhaKishanroad,in the limits of Phoolnagar police station.

According to police, Moazam (14) along with his brother Mohsin (12) was on his way by a bikewhen the two-wheeler hit a tractor-trolley coming from the opposite side. As a result, both died on the spot.

Police shifted the bodies to Pattoki THQ Hospital and later handed them over to family after legal formalities.

The driver of the tractor-trolley managed his escape.

TIKTOKER HELD: Raja Jang police on Thursday held a TikToker who made a video on the premises of the police station and uploaded it on the social media.

Interestingly, the Raja Jang police remained unaware of the activity of the TikToker till the DPO took notice of the video that went viral on social media.

The DPO ordered his arrest and registration of a case against the suspect but did not take any action against the of ficials.

The video showed Muhammad Irfan of village Matta in the guise of Bilu Gujjar, [a criminal] appeared in front of the police station gate and spoke ill of police. Then he entered the police station and delivered dialogues against the police.

Police have arrested the suspect and registered a case against him. Correspondent
