We offer placements for undergraduate and postgraduates throughout the year.  Many of our placement students are from universities in Pakistan and abroad.

We receive many requests for placements, but we usually take no more than one or two students at a time. The minimum placement period is two weeks, but we encourage placement students to stay for longer so they can make the most out of their experience. We sometimes take students on formal university work placement schemes.

Our students work principally in our legal aid departments. Most students find the work exciting because of the opportunities they have to become involved in litigation at every court level and encompassing criminal, family and constitutional law. We are also involved in preparing reports touching upon human rights which we then use to lobby parliamentarians and other policymakers. Interns gain a lot from this aspect of research and advocacy.
