Boy dies due to medics’ negligence’ – 16 Mar 2023

RAWALPINDI: A 1o-year-old boy died due to the alleged negligence of doctors at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi. Angry relatives created a ruckus in the hospital as doctors closed the emergency service. A heavy contingent of police reached the scene and controlled the situation. The relatives of 1o-year-old Abu Talha, who died during treatment, said that the child was hit by a tractor-trolley in Garibabad. The injured, who was shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, doctors showed negligence in the emergency and did not pay attention to the child, due to which he died, the relatives alleged. They started beating doctors at the emergency, after which all the staff including security ran away and the doctors stopped the emergency service.
