KOHAT: A young boy committed suicide after allegedly quarreling with parents over some issue in Noor Elahi Colony here on Saturday.
The boy, identified as Danish, ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his room. The family said he had a fight with his parents over some issue.
A Rescue 1122 team reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and shifted the body to the KDA Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
Earlier, a second-year student of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Soheb, belonging to Chakar Kot area here, had ended his life by jumping into the Tanda Dam.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the road accident that occurred on Thursday night when a coaster and a trailer collided, reached 18 as another man succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Saturday.
Seventeen men, women, and children had died on the spot, with one seriously injured.
The deceased was identified as Faisal.
