Body found floating in canal – 01 Apr 2023
CHAK JHUMRA: The body of an unidentified 33-year-old woman was discovered floating in a canal near Old M. Tax Chowk of the Peoples Colony police station. Witnesses reported the incident to the police, who shifted the body to the hospital and began searching for the victim’s heirs. Police said the victim was allegedly killed and thrown into the canal by unidentified individuals. ASI Asif Ali filed a complaint, and the police have registered a case against the unknown suspects and started searching for them. OUR CORRESPONDENT
